A worksplate, SHARP STEWART, 4368, 1898, from a Barry Railway J Class 2-4-2T No 90, a passenger class tank which entered traffic in May 1898. When the Railway was absorbed by the GWR in January 1922 it became GWR 1315 and was withdrawn in October 1928. Cast brass, 9¾"x6", lightly cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: C)
