A worksplate, BUILT 1949 HORWICH. Locos built by BR that year at Horwich were Class 4 2-6-0 Nos 43023-49 and Class 5 4-6-0 Nos 44668/9. Cast iron, 10¼"x6", the front repainted and the rim and characters polished. (Postage Band: C)
