A nameplate NETHERTON. From Manning Wardle 1603 of 1903 a standard gauge 0-6-0ST new to the contractor Thomas Wrigley and used by him on a number of contracts. By September 1937 it was at Wrigley's Prestwich yard and sold the following year to Sir Lindsay Parkinson who used it on further contract work. Sold in 1943 to Cudworth & Johnson Ltd of Wrexham and hired by them to Marford Sand & Gravel quarry, Rossett, near Wrexham. Out of use by 1946 and scrapped on site June 1952. Cast brass, length 39".
