A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 9655, 1925, from a LNER N7 Class 0-6-2T No 916 built by Robert Stephenson & Co, Works No 3900, in October 1925, renumbered 9655 in 1946, becoming BR 69655. It spent almost all its working life at Stratford from where it was withdrawn in August 1959 and cut up at the nearby Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
