A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, 25129, 1943, from a War Department Austerity 2-8-0 built by NBL to Ministry of Supply order in November 1943, WD No 77258. Loaned new to the LNER and to the GWR in September 1944, it was returned to the WD in February 1945 and loaned again to the LNER in October 1947. Purchased by BR in December 1949 it became 90215. It spent most of its BR days at Colwick before moving late on to New England and Immingham from where it was withdrawn in April 1965 and sold for scrap to Drapers at Hull. Cast white brass, 13½"x5½", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
