A worksplate, No 2112, DARLINGTON, 1950, from a (LMS) Class 4 2-6-0 No 43070 allocated new to Heaton in August 1950. Its later sheds included Holbeck, York, Wakefield, West Hartlepool and North Blyth from where it was withdrawn in September 1967 and sold for scrap to Clayton & Davie at Dunston-on-Tyne. Engraved brass, 12"x6½", the front polished. (Postage Band: C)
