A BR(W) running in board, BLACK ROCK HALT, (f/f), from the Cambrian Coast route, situated between Criccieth and Portmadoc, opened in 1923 to serve Black Rock Sands, a popular beach. Services ceased to stop on safety grounds in Summer 1976 and the halt was closed a year later.
