A worksplate, BEYER PEACOCK, 7307, 1949, from an East African Railways metre gauge 4-8-4+4-8-4 Beyer Garratt ordered by its predecessor Kenya-Uganda Railway and allocated their No 106 which was never carried. It became EAR Class 58 No 5818, the last of the class to be built. All have been scrapped. Cast brass, 10¼"x6½",in ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
