A nameplate, MIDLOTHIAN, from a Peppercorn A1 Class 4-6-2 No 60151 built at Darlington, Works No 2070, entering traffic on 30 June 1949 at Gateshead and named in March 1951, taking its name from that of a former North British Railway engine. Its later sheds were Heaton, Tweedmouth, Gateshead again and York from where it was withdrawn on 24 November 1965 and sold for scrap to Station Steel at Wath. Cast brass, length 57", the front repainted. The back is marked with the names of 27 Pacifics with the same length nameplate.
