A worksplate, ROBERT STEPHENSON & Co, DARLINGTON, 4142, 1937, from a standard gauge 0-6-0ST new to the Workington Iron & Steel Co Ltd as Moss Bay Iron & Steel Works, Workington, as their No 60.. Passed with the Works to the British Steel Corporation in July 1967 and scrapped in August 1969. Engraved brass, 11¼"x5¼", the front lightly polished. (Postage Band: B)
