A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 7551, REBUILT STRATFORD WORKS, 1921, from a Great Eastern Railway Class Y14, LNER J15 Class, 0-6-0, No 7551, the last of the class built at Stratford in 1913, renumbered 5479 in 1946, becoming BR 65479. Its BR sheds were Lowestoft, Norwich, Colchester and Hitchin from where it was withdrawn in August 1960 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", ex loco condition. The rebuild referred to on the plate appears to be the fitting of a new boiler. (Postage Band: B)
