A smokebox numberplate, 64397, from a Great Central Railway Class 9J, LNER J11 Class, 0-6-0 No 5282 built at Gorton in December 1906, renumbered 4397 in 1946, becoming BR 64397. Its BR sheds were Walton, Spital Bridge, New England, Colwick and Lincoln from where it was withdrawn on 6 May 1960 and cut up at Gorton Works. The front repainted. (Postage Band: D)
