A ticket, MORAYSHIRE RAILWAY DIRECTORS TICKET, No 11, depicting an early locomotive, silver, 1¾"x…ž". The company's line between Elgin and Lossiemouth opened in 1852 and was the first railway north of Aberdeen. An extension west to Rothes opened in 1862. A superb early item. (Postage Band: B)
