A BR(NE) totem sign, SPENNYMOOR, (f/f), from the Bishop Auckland to Hartlepool route. The station closed in 1953 though it continued to be used for occasional excursion traffic. Excellent colour and shine, two small repairs in the white border. The totem has the attractive black-edged lettering. (Postage Band: D)
