A worksplate, BEYER PEACOCK, 7475, 1952, from a New South Wales Government Railways standard gauge AD 60 Class 4-8-4+4-8-4 Garratt No 6003, one of a class of massively proportioned engines designed for heavy freight work. The last was withdrawn in March 1973. Cast brass, 19"x9¾", the front cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: C)
