A smokebox numberplate, 69693, from a LNER N7 Class 0-6-2T No 2653 built by Beardmore, Works No 316, entering traffic at Kings Cross in August 1927, renumbered 9693 in 1946, becoming BR 69693. It moved in 1933 to Stratford where it spent the remainder of its working life. Withdrawn in September 1961, it was cut up at Stratford Works. Repainted. (Postage Band: D)
