A nameplate, ALLINGTON CASTLE, from a standard gauge 0-4-0DH built by Hunslet, Works No 6975, in 1968 and which worked for the Ministry of Defence at Chatham Dockyard as Yard No 12228. It was named after a stone built moated castle just north of Maidstone. It later worked at British Nuclear Fuels plc, Windscale Works, Sellafield as their No 5. Sold for preservation in June 2021 to the Colne Valley Railway at Castle Hedingham. Cast brass, 32" long, in ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
