A GWR cabside numberplate, 6809, from the 6800 Grange Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in September 1936 and named BURGHCLERE GRANGE after a country house four miles south of Newbury. It spent most of its BR days at Penzance moving late on to Pontypool Road, St Philips Marsh and Southall from where it was withdrawn in July 1963 and cut up at Swindon Works.
