A worksplate, NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT RAILWAY, No 347, 1941, BUILT AT RAILWAY WORKSHOPS, from a NZR Class KA 4-8-4 No 964 built at the Railway's Hillside Workshops in June 1941 and converted to oil burning in November 1948 at Otahuhu Workshops in Auckland. It was written off in October 1966. Cast brass, 17¼"x10¼", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
