A worksplate, LNER, 4253, DONCASTER WORKS 1919, from a Great Northern Railway J22 Class 0-6-0 No 604 built at Doncaster, Works No 1485, in January 1919, becoming LNER J6 Class No 3604, renumbered 4253 in 1946, BR 64253. Its BR sheds were Colwick, Hornsey and New England from where it was withdrawn on 14 May 1962 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
