A worksplate, NIPPON SHARYO, NAGOYA, JAPAN, 1954, from one of Nippon Sharyo works nos.1614-1651 of 1954 supplied to Indian Railways. These comprised 1614-1618, 2'6" gauge 4-6-2s of class ZP (nos.ZP2-ZP6) which latterly worked the Pulgaon-Arvi branch, and 1619-1651 which were part of a batch of 75 metre gauge YG 2-8-2s, the 1954 locos being YG nos. 4001-4033. Cast brass, 6"x4", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
