A worksplate, BRITISH RAILWAYS CREWE BUILT 1964, BRUSH SULZER, from a BR Class 47 No 1560, renumbered 47444 in February 1974. Named UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM between 1981 and 1990. Allocated new to Tinsley in March 1964, withdrawn from Crewe Diesel in June 1990 and cut up at Adtranz Crewe by M.R.J.Phillips in August 1995. Cast aluminium, 13"x6½", cleaned and the front repainted, the loco number stamped in the back. (Postage Band: C)
