A GEC indicator used at Muir of Ord on the Highland Railway Far North/Kyle Line, designed to show trains approaching from Beauly (North), Conan (South) and Black Isle (i.e. the Fortrose branch). The instrument was probably used in the booking office. It was manufactured by GEC and has their brass makers plate and is a standard design used in domestic situations as well as in other use. The centre indicator has been removed following the Fortrose branch closure to passengers in 1952 and freight in 1960. The face has been repainted, the case is 20½"x17", one knob absent from the base controls. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
