A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 61114, N.B. LOCO Co, 1947, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1114 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 25870, in January 1947, becoming BR 61114. It spent its early years at Gorton before moving to Doncaster and Immingham from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and sold for scrap to Cohens at Rotherham. Cast brass, 9"x5", cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: B)
