A tenderplate, BALDWIN, 74538, DEC 1949, YG, from a metre gauge YG 2-8-2 for Indian Railways. One of the initial batch of 150 engines of this class which eventually totalled 1441 locos, Baldwin built 120 of the 150, but running numbers against works numbers were not recorded, and tenders would have been swapped around soon anyhow. Cast iron, 6"x4", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
