A locomotive numberplate, No 62051, 1948, from a Peppercorn K1 Class 2-6-0 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 26655, and allocated new to March in November 1949. Its later sheds were Retford and Doncaster from where it was withdrawn in January 1965 and sold for scrap to A.Draper at Hull. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6½", the front lightly polished. (Postage Band: C)
