A worksplate, NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT RAILWAYS, BUILT AT RAILWAY WORKSHOPS, 270, 1931, from a NZGR C Class 2-6-2 No 862 built at Hutt Workshops in July 1931. It was written off in November 1963. Cast brass, 17"x10½", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
