A Furness Railway Tyers block instrument, with trafolite plate, SEASCALE SOUTH BOX, and brass makers plate, from the Cumbrian coast route. Seascale South Box dates from the 1940s when a set of sidings was provided to serve ROF Drigg. The box controlled access from the main line, just south of Seascale village. Original condition.
