A GWR cast iron cabside numberplate, 5692, from a 5600 Class 0-6-2T built at Swindon in January 1927. At Merthyr by January 1948, its later sheds included Cardiff Cathays, Llanelly and Radyr from where it was withdrawn in July 1965 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport.
