A GWR brass cabside numberplate, 6914, from a GWR 4900 Hall Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in February 1941 and named LANGTON HALL after the Grade II country House near Malton in North Yorkshire, recently renovated by a Mr William Langton. It spent most of its BR days at St Philips Marsh, Westbury and Taunton, finishing its days at Cardiff East Dock from where it was withdrawn in April 1964 and sold for scrap to Birds at Risca.
