A Cannock Mineral Railway company seal. The company was authorised in 1855 and ran between Cannock and Rugeley. It was leased to the LNWR from opening and absorbed by that company a decade later. Copper, 2¼" diameter, on a brass mount 3" diameter. The seal features the coat of arms and Staffordshire knot and would have been used on share certificates and other documents. (Postage Band: B)
