A locomotive headboard, WESTERN TRIBUTE 26 FEB 1977, FAREWELL RAIL TOUR, used on the final Class 52 train hauled by D1023 Western Fusilier and D1013 Western Ranger. The train left Paddington at 09:10, running to Swansea before heading to Bristol and Plymouth and returning via Westbury to Paddington, arriving back only six minutes late at 23:41. The headboard was produced by staff at Old Oak Common. Painted wood incorporating the GWR coat of arms, 71"x29", complete with wooden blocks to the rear and a metal hanging bar added.
