A worksplate, GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY, 1405, DONCASTER 1913, from a GNR J22 Class 0-6-0 No 570, which became LNER J6 Class No 3570 and was renumbered 4219 in 1946, becoming BR 64219. Its BR sheds were Doncaster New England, Lincoln and Colwick from where it was withdrawn in November 1961 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Engraved brass, 12½"x7½", the company name filled at nationalisation, later restored and the letters painted. (Postage Band: C)
