A worksplate, LONDON NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY Co, No 1951, DONCASTER, 1942, from a LNER O2 Class 2-8-0 No 3853 built in December 1942, renumbered 3983 in 1946, becoming BR 63983. Its sheds were Doncaster, Colwick, Langwith, Mexborough and Retford from where it was withdrawn in July 1963 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Fully engraved brass, 13½"x7¾", the front lightly polished.
