A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 65872, DARLINGTON WORKS 1922, from a North Eastern Railway Class P3, LNER J27 Class, 0-6-0 No 2350 built at Darlington in May 1922, renumbered 5872 in 1946, becoming BR 65872. A long time Sunderland engine, it was withdrawn from there in January 1967 and sold for scrap to Willoughbys at Choppington. Cast iron, 9"x5", with brass renumbering strip, cleaned but unpainted.
