A locomotive nameplate, WALTON GRANGE, from a GWR 6800 Grange class 4-6-0 No 6849 built at Swindon in October 1937 and named after a country House near Much Wenlock in Shropshire. Its BR sheds included St Philips Marsh, Pontypool Road, Chester, Laira, Penzance, Didcot and Oxford from where it was withdrawn in December 1965 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport.
