A GWR cabside numberplate, 2871, from a 2800 Class 2-8-0 built at Swindon in November 1918. A long time Croes Newydd engine, it finished its days at Westbury and Taunton from where it was withdrawn in May 1963 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport. Cast brass, the front repainted.
