A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, 21863, 1918, from a Robinson Great Central type 2-8-0 built in June 1918 to Ministry of Munitions order for the Railway Operating Division of the Royal Engineers, ROD No 1886. Loaned new to the GCR, it was stored at Morecambe from 1921 until sold to the LNER, becoming their O4 Class No 6592 and entering traffic in September 1927 at Immingham. It was renumbered 3788 in 1946 and became BR 63788. It spent most of its BR days at Frodingham, moving towards the end to Doncaster from where it was withdrawn in January 1966 and sold for scrap to T.W.Ward at Beighton. Cast brass, 8" diameter, ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
