A worksplate, PECKETT 1195, 1912. From a standard gauge 0-4-0ST new to Vickers Ltd, River Don Steelworks, Sheffield as No 14. Company later became part of the English Steel Corporation. Latterly out stationed at Woodhouse Mill tip and scraped there around 1968. Engraved brass, 12"x8½", the front lightly polished, a bump to the rim, lower right. (Postage Band: C)
