A locomotive numberplate, No 62037, 1948, from a K1 Class 2-6-0 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 26641, and allocated new to March on 14 September 1949 where it spent most of its working life before moving to Stratford in February 1961 and later Retford GC and Doncaster from where it was withdrawn on 26 December 1964 and sold for scrap to Hughes Bolckows at North Blyth. Engraved brass, 12"x6½", the front lightly cleaned. (Postage Band: B)
