A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 4711, DARLINGTON, 1926, from a LNER J39 Class 0-6-0 No 1481 built at Darlington in November 1926, renumbered 4711 in 1946, becoming BR 64711. Its sheds were West Hartlepool, Darlington, Blaydon and Tweedmouth where it spent almost all its BR days and from where it was withdrawn in May 1962 and cut up at Cowlairs Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
