A worksplate, NEILSON & Co, 5131, 1897, from a 3ft 6ins gauge 4-6-0 built for Cape Government Railways. On the formation of South African Railways in 1910 it became their Class 6B No 498. Cast brass, 9½"x6", cleaned and the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
