A worksplate, HUDSWELL CLARKE, 1724, 1942, from a 0-4-0ST new to Monk Bridge Iron and Steel Works at Leeds where it was named FORWARD. After the Works closed in December 1950, the engine went to T.W. Ward at Sheffield the following year. Engraved brass, 12¾"x8", the front lightly polished. (Postage Band: C)
