A group of Furness Railway signal lever plates from Plumpton Junction box between Grange Over Sands and Ulverston. a) 59, DOWN LAKESIDE DISTANT, b) 48 DISC TO DOWN PRIORY, c) 17 POINTS UNLOCKED/LOCKED. Plumpton was the junction for Windermere Lakeside and the Conishead Priory branch, the latter closing in 1916 though a short section to Bardsea Works was retained until 1994. Each engraved brass, 2½"x6¾", with brackets to the rear, some face marks, lightly polished. (see lot 6) (Postage Band: B)
