A locomotive nameplate, ALVERSTONE, from a London & South Western Railway O2 Class 0-4-4T No 202 built at Nine Elms Works in August 1891. It was sent to the Isle of Wight in April 1926 when it was numbered W29 and named. Shedded at Newport for all its time on the Isle, it was withdrawn in May 1966.
