A worksplate No 2144, DARLINGTON, 1951, from a (LMS) Class 4 2-6-0 No 43102 built by BR at Darlington. Its sheds included Middlesbrough, Thornaby, Darlington and Stourton from where it was withdrawn in December 1966 and sold for scrap to Wards at Beighton, Sheffield. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6¼", the front lightly polished. (Postage Band: B)
