A worksplate, HUDSWELL CLARKE, D899, 1956, from a BR 0-6-0 diesel mechanical shunter D11117 allocated new to Birkenhead Mollington Street in January 1956 and renumbered D2501 in May 1961. Withdrawn from Barrow in February 1967, it was cut up by Slag Reduction at Ickles the following August. Cast brass, 12½"x8", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
