A smokebox numberplate, 61980, from a LNER K3 Class 2-6-0 No 3820 built at Darlington in December 1936, renumbered 1980 in 1946, becoming BR 61980. Allocated new to Doncaster, its later sheds were Gorton, Annesley and Ardsley from where it was withdrawn in December 1962 and cut up at Doncaster Works. (Postage Band: D)
