A smokebox numberplate, 30544, from a Southern Railway Q Class 0-6-0 No 544 built at Eastleigh in April 1939, becoming BR 30544. It spent several years at Horsham and shorter stays at Tunbridge Wells West, Eastleigh and Three Bridges from where it was withdrawn in January 1964 and sold for scrap to Wards at Killamarsh. The front repainted, the BR(S) Eastleigh triangle cast on the back. (Postage Band: D)
