A worksplate, 2130, DARLINGTON, 1950 from a (LMS) Class 4 2-6-0 No 43088 allocated new on 1 December 1950 to New England where it stayed for more than twelve years. Its later sheds were Barrow Hill, Crewe South, Stoke and Lostock Hall from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 23 December 1967 and despatched for scrap to Campbells at Airdrie on 7 March 1968. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6¼", the front lightly polished. (Postage Band: C)
